music at lawrence academy

At Lawrence Academy students have the opportunity to learn about the world and about themselves by creating, performing, and studying music. Whether in a private lesson, an academic course, or an extracurricular ensemble, students are given the chance to express themselves, to collaborate, and to develop a high level of technique and performance, all while having fun.

Musicians from both the academic courses and the extracurricular options perform at the end of each trimester during a week dedicated to celebrating the arts at Lawrence Academy.

Additional performance opportunities over throughout the year in the form of student-run Acoustic Cafes, all school assemblies, admissions events, and community service events.
