The Lawrence Academy Alumni Council is a volunteer organization comprised of alumni representing several generations.
The Council's role is to facilitate activities and relationships throughout the Lawrence Academy community to encourage individual participation in events, projects, and giving activities.

Carolyn is an experienced Sales Director with a demonstrated history of providing staffing and contingent workforce solutions.
Skilled in Business Development, Immunology, Oncology, Technical Recruiting, Staffing Services, VMS, MSP, and RPOs. Solid experience developing national accounts within multiple verticals with Fortune 500 companies.
Strong sales management professional with a Bachelor's Degree focused in Business Administration, Management, and Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Marianne is an experienced marketer focusing on customer relationship marketing for large consumer brands, such as Bose, Dunkin’ Brands, American Express, and Delta Airlines.
In these roles, she has been responsible for strategic planning, development, and execution of global campaigns and programs driving key business results for the brands business. One of her largest accomplishments was leading the execution and communications for Dunkin’s’ first-ever loyalty program and mobile app launch, DD Perks. Marianne was also a key contributor in managing cross channel marketing for the Delta client relationship supporting the award-winning SkyMiles program. Cultivating relationships and delivering a brand's value and mission is what drives Marianne’s success.
In her spare time, Marianne has supported the Alumni Council of Lawrence Academy for the past 10 years, she has served as a board member for the Parents Association for both The Fenn School and The Willard Elementary school. She is a participant in foundations such as Raising a Reader, JDRF, Concord Carlisle Community Chest, Open Table as well as other community organizations.
Marianne has a BA in Communications from Boston College.
Pat joined the Alumni Council in 2020. He graduated alongside his wife, Kelly (formerly Kelly Barry ’06), and has two younger brothers who also graduated LA (Conor ’07 and Brendon ’11). Following LA, Pat attended Union College in Schenectady, NY where he received his B.A. in Economics. While at Union, Pat led Chi Psi Fraternity as President for two years and was recognized as President of the Year by the college's administration and his peers for his exceptional leadership. He remains active on the Alumni Board for Chi Psi today.
Since graduating Union, Pat has spent his career in financial services. More specifically, he worked as a Principal Sales Consultant for a large Boston-based asset manager before transitioning into capital markets as a Sales Trader. In 2018, Pat left the institutional sales world and started his financial planning practice based in Wellesley, MA. Pat and his growing team work comprehensively with clients across the country and help with risk, wealth and tax management.
Pat and Kelly were married on the Cape in 2015 and moved shortly thereafter to their hometown of Sudbury, MA. They have two children – Flynn and Charlotte – who fill every day with energy and excitement. Spending time together is a priority and that often includes time on the beach, golf course and ski slopes.
Brian grew up in New Hampshire and attended LA from 1997-2001, his father Kevin is a graduate of 1974.
After LA, Brian went on to study at Johns Hopkins and then Vanderbilt, where he earned his MD before doing a residency in plastic surgery at Brown.
He is currently Chief of Hand Surgery and Vice-Chair for Education in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In addition to his duties as a surgeon, he spends time teaching as the residency program director for integrated plastic surgery and in the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society.
Brian's partner, Margaret Maclin, is a pediatric dentist who specializes in treating children with cleft and craniofacial differences. The two love spending time with their families in Maine and working on their urban farm in Nashville with their dog Tucker.
Tori graduated Lawrence Academy in 1997 and headed off to the University of Maryland where she played Lacrosse for the Terps through the 2001 season. She won 4 NCAA Championships and captained the team her senior year.
During her senior year in college, she took on an internship at Under Armour becoming their first intern and 19th full-time employee. Tori built her career at Under Armour in Sports Marketing, building, managing, and activating partnerships across the NCAA properties, Olympic teams and athletes, professional athletes, gyms, and marquee influencers like Misty Copeland + Gisele Bundchen.
After spending 18 years building one of the fastest-growing brands in the world, Tori wanted to get back to brand building. She now resides in Cohasset, MA heading up marketing for Super Coffee (Inc Magazines fastest-growing food and beverage brand in 2020).
She married Matt Hanna who is the founder of Next One Up, a nonprofit mentoring program for underserved youth. They have 3 kids of their own Wells (9), Hurley (7), and Duke (5) (Named after Matt’s great grandfather NOT Duke University, Go Terps!).
Chris graduated from Lawrence Academy with the class of '03 after spending much of his childhood on campus where his father, Peter Hazzard, who was part of the faculty for 30 years. Chris now lives in Los Angeles with his wife Laura where they are the foster parents to two energetic toddlers, and advocates for foster youth in their community. Chris also volunteers with the Young Storytellers Foundation, empowering local grade-schoolers to write their stories and share them with the world.
Professionally, Chris is a screenwriter who, with his writing partner Michael Fontana, has written feature film projects for Amazon Studios, Fox International, Sony, and others. Most recently they wrote UNDER COVER for Lionsgate which is set to star Zachary Levi and Cole Sprouse with Steve Pink directing. On the TV side, Chris & Mike have developed two original half hours with FX Networks and currently have a comedy in development at Hulu. In the coming year, they will make their directorial debut with DRUNK BUS, a feature comedy which they also wrote.
After graduating from LA, Chris went on to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts earning his BFA in Film Production and then to USC's Peter Stark Producing Program where he received an MFA in Motion Picture Producing.
Lindsay graduated from LA in 2000. While at LA, she played basketball and softball and discovered a passion for travel thanks to some amazing Winterim experiences. After LA, Lindsay attended Boston University and majored in Communications. Lindsay aspired to be a print journalist, but on her first day interning for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, she was asked to cover a house fire. When faced with asking a family who just lost everything how they felt, she quickly realized this was not the career for her.
Lindsay is currently the Sr. Manager of Recruiting and Professional Development at Wolf Greenfield, an Intellectual Property law firm, with offices in Boston and New York. Part of her responsibilities in this role includes coordinating Wolf’s summer internship program for law students and engineering students. She's also involved with training and development initiatives for lawyers at various stages in their careers.
Lindsay lives in Concord, MA with her husband and their two kids, Russell (7) and Claire (4). While not working, Lindsay loves spending time outdoors. She is also a member of the Concord Library Committee.
Victor is from Queens NY and was a boarding student at LA class of 2008. While at LA he played football and wrestled. He later received his Bachelor of Science in finance with a minor in computer information systems from Bentley University.
Currently he is a Vice President in Research Development focused on intermediary distribution at Natixis Investment Managers. Additionally, he is a member of the Global Diversity Steering Committee and on the Leadership team of the Multicultural and Diversity Engagement group at Natixis. Prior to joining Natixis, he worked at Fidelity Investments and at Ameriprise Financial.
Victor is married to Kelley Decoteau Howell class of 2008. They both worked in financial services while living in Boston then moved to Hopkinton MA where they currently live with their two sons Mason and Owen.
Paul graduated from UMASS Amherst in 1969 and then served 3 years as a USMC communications officer.
After service, Paul went to work for the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His first years were in administering the G. I. Bill education program and later switched to administering the disability compensation program.
Paul retired from the USMC as a Hearing Officer and then earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University while working at the VA.
Since retiring, Paul has been working with Dick Jeffers on the Lawrence Academy heritage project and paddling canoes with the students in the outdoor LA programs.
Annie graduated with the class of ’03. Her mother, Holly Steward, was the school counselor for 27 years and put Annie and her 3 younger brothers (Matt ’05, Jon ’07, Greg ’07) through a combined 16 years of education at Lawrence Academy. She and her husband fellow alumni, Brendan ’01, have 2 wonderful children, Brynn (4) and Chase (21 months). Annie loves playing co-ed and women’s league soccer, hiking and skiing.
Besides unexpectedly becoming an executive assistant for her children’s school conference calls, Annie is proud to be the Vice President of Marketing and the first woman to join a startup called "AIdentified." They are a prospecting and relationship intelligence platform helping schools find donors, financial advisers open more business, real estate agents find more off-market listings, and much more. Prior to that Annie has worked as an experienced product and marketing professional at Dow Jones, NetProspex/Dun & Bradstreet, and business.com.
Annie states she is grateful for LA giving her the foundation and skills that she’s built her personal and professional life upon. She enjoys giving back to the school that has given her so much.
Catie came to LA as a junior, day student. She credits Winterim for cultivating her love of travel. At Ithaca College she majored in advertising and public relations and spent a semester at the Ithaca College London Centre – a great launching spot for exploring Europe.
Catie’s the director of marketing at C.E. Floyd Company, a commercial general contractor with a focus on Building Visions and People. She creates, manages and executes the marketing plan as it aligns with the company’s brand and strategic plan. Staying on top of the latest trends in both construction and marketing fulfills her passion of lifelong learning.
Catie also loves to run, coach her son’s soccer team, spend time with her family and read good books. Recommendations always welcome!
Clare graduated from Lawrence Academy in 2014. At LA, she was captain of the varsity field hockey team, captain of the junior varsity ice hockey team, a member of the Student-Faculty Senate, and co-president of the Relay for Life club. She received the Ferguson Prize for Leadership upon graduation. Clare also worked for six years in the summer programs at Lawrence during high school and college.
After LA, she graduated magna cum laude from Providence College with degrees in political science and French. While at Providence, she studied at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and was an intern at the French Ministry of Education in Paris, France.
Originally from Stow, Massachusetts, Clare currently lives in Boston. She previously spent two years living in Washington, D.C. where she worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as a project manager in executive education. She oversaw the strategic and financial management of the department and liaised with other CSIS teams to support new programming.
Clare currently attends Boston College Law School, where she plans to study international and human rights law.
Ben is a video producer at Shadow Lion, a creative production agency, where he works in the documentary realm alongside local athletes and brands.
After graduating from Lawrence Academy in 2015, Ben went on to Colby College, where he majored in international relations.
At LA, Ben was involved with peer counseling, the school's newspaper, and the men's lacrosse and ski teams.
As a recent graduate with experience engaging with the school's alumni network, he hopes to utilize his own experiences to help younger alumni gain familiarity and connection with the extended LA community.
