Home & Away: Letters from the Great War
Lawrence Academy

Home & Away: Click for PDFInspired by actual letters from the soldiers on the war front and from those whom they left behind, Lawrence Academy students have developed an original music theatre performance that paints a picture of the experience of the war from both perspectives.

The score is a combination of World War I era music and original compositions, and the text is a collage of authentic correspondences and student-written material.
