Artists rendering of Schoolhouse Addition Project. Check back for updates!
We are excited to announce that this year’s Senior Parent Gift (SPG) project will be directed towards the first major capital project within our Campus Master Plan. Towards that end, a new addition to the Schoolhouse will be the focus of this year’s gift.
The Schoolhouse renovation is part of a broader vision for LA as outlined in our strategic plan digest and the executive summary which we hope you are familiar with. Your participation will help us realize the bold goals of the plan and ensure that we can continue to provide a premier, individualized, student-centered learning experience.
- Our goal is to raise $500,000 for the SPG, $250,000 of which will go towards the Schoolhouse renovation and the other $250,000 will go toward the LA Fund.
- The class of 2019 will be recognized with a plaque within the new space in appreciation.
The Board of Trustees recently approved our plans to move forward with the Schoolhouse renovation, and we have just enlisted our architects for work on the design. If fundraising for the project continues to go well, we could break ground as early as this summer.
The Senior Parent Gift (SPG) project supports the Schoolhouse renovation, which is one of the crucial first campaign initiatives LA will execute and will build upon the incredible momentum you’ve helped foster for LA.
