2018 Senior Parent
Gifts & pledges (as of 5/22/18): $314,500
2018 Senior Parent Gift
In recent years, senior parents have created a legacy of transformative giving to Lawrence Academy through the Senior Parent Gift. These gifts have helped to bring change and improvement to the school in the here and now. This year’s project will continue to improve our campus landscape by focusing attention on LA’s academic and social heart: the Quad.
We have finished off a pleasing arrival point at the south end of the campus core, reconfigured Powderhouse Road into a pedestrian way, and made initial improvements to the landscape architecture connecting entry to arrival to the Quad. The capital portion of the 2018 Senior Parent Gift (SPG) will continue the definition and refinement of the Quad as an extension of a multi-year initiative to make Lawrence Academy's educational landscape even more welcoming and gracious. The financial goal for this year’s Senior Parent Gift is $350,000. With half allocated to the LA Fund and half designated for the SPG project
This continued definition and aesthetic refinement of the academic quad is an extension of a carefully planned, multi-year initiative to enhance the educational landscape at LA where we gather to learn and live.
