HEAD JV COACH: Jarred Gagnon | profile
A native of Manchester, New Hampshire, Jarred Gagnon returns to LA just five years after graduating. While excelling academically, Jarred earned nine LA varsity letters in three years, playing football, hockey, and baseball. He served as a captain on all three teams his senior year and earned all-league honors on three occasions. His passion for math at Lawrence Academy carried him to Wesleyan College, where he majored in mathematics and graduated in 2007. During his years at Wesleyan, Mr. Gagnon played varsity hockey, baseball, and football, in addition to club rugby. The highlight of his collegiate athletic career came during a tour of Austria, Germany, and Italy, where the hockey team enjoyed a 5–0 run against its European competition. After Wesleyan, Jarred worked at Ameriprise Financial as a financial advisor for one year before returning to Lawrence, with hopes to pass on the wonderful experience that LA provided him. In his free time, Jarred enjoys riddles, lifting weights, and supporting the New England sports teams. He resides in Spaulding Hall, a dorm in which he served as a proctor for two of his three years there.
