About the LA Fund

What is the LA Fund and what does it support?

Comprising about 7 percent of the annual operating budget, the LA Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition revenue, endowment income, and the true cost of running the school. The Fund provides unrestricted and flexible resources to enhance our educational, artistic, and athletic programs, develop and implement DEI initiatives, provide financial aid, offer professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff, maintain our beautiful campus, and more.  

Why is participation important to The LA Fund?

High participation rates to the LA Fund demonstrate our community’s confidence in and commitment to Lawrence Academy. Giving sends a powerful message to prospective parents and other donors. A successful LA Fund reflects a strong community and ensures continued growth and stability for current and future generations of students.

How much should I give?

We ask that you make your best gift—a gift at a level that is meaningful and impactful to you. We invite current families, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents and friends to make LA their top philanthropic priority.

What can I do to help?
