Dear Alumni & Friends:

In the transition between winter and spring, LA moves out into the world through Winterim and college acceptances and invites the world in through Revisit Days and upcoming events like Grandparents’ Day, Cum Laude Day, and the ever-anticipated graduation ceremonies.

Our campus is greening-up, and both next year’s new students and this year’s LA seniors are signing up. We have plans to make our transition on and off campus more stately and visible through a new campus entry project, which will take place over the summer, and we are busy engaging in our last opportunities to finish this year well. Be sure to check out this month’s video with scenes from around campus and a visual on the entryway plans off Route 119 [WATCH on YouTube].

This third term is our shortest and is always action-packed. Next week, our LA Singers head to the Big Apple to sing in Carnegie Hall! The One-Act Plays have held auditions, and our student directors are now working with the actors to create the productions. Midterm is already only 2 weeks away. As it has always done in my thirty-three years at LA, time is flying by!

From the hillside,

Rob Moore
