O'Shea Bell
Assistant CoachO'Shea Bell joined Lawrence Academy in 2020 and is the Assistant Dean of Student Community Life and Equity, a math teacher, and an assistant coach for varsity football and basketball. He has a BA in criminology from Stonehill College. O'Shea lives on campus and enjoys sports, exercise, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. -
Anthony Karibian
Head CoachAnthony Karibian joined the LA community in 2019 after teaching twenty years at Salem High School in New Hampshire. He teaches history and coaches boys’ varsity soccer as well as JV basketball. He received his BA in secondary education from Notre Dame College and his MEd from New England College. He also holds a USSF “C” soccer coaching license. At Lawrence Academy, he most appreciates the community of colleagues, friends, and students with whom he has the privilege to work. Tony lives on campus with his wife, Jennifer, who also works at LA, and his sons Griffin, Khristian '22, and Alex '23. Tony loves the outdoors, sports, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and traveling. He believes that seeing different places and experiencing other cultures is a great way to understand the world better.

Lawrence Academy competes in the 16-team Independent School League (ISL), which consists of selective college preparatory schools in and around the greater Boston area from as far north as Byfield, Mass., and as far south as Newport, R.I. All ISL schools are members of NEPSAC, the New England Private School Athletic Council, which governs all interscholastic play for independent schools in the Northeast.
