Caroline Heatley
Head CoachCaroline Heatley joined LA in 2010 and is the Director of Athletic Operations. Outside of Lawrence, Caroline has served in many capacities at USA Hockey, including as a district evaluator, director of player development camps and most recently as director of hockey operations for the Women’s National Teams. She has a BS in Communications and an MS in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. She loves how authentic and genuine the students are at Lawrence Academy. She lives on campus with her yellow lab, Stanley, and enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends. -
Elena Beleno Carney
Assistant CoachElena Beleno Carney '97 began working at LA in 2012 and is an English faculty member. She has a BA in political science from St. Edward's University and a JD from Suffolk University Law School. She likes working with the students in the classroom, in the dorm, and in advisory. Elena lives in "LA South," enjoys family time, volunteering, and cooking.

Lawrence Academy competes in the 16-team Independent School League (ISL), which consists of selective college preparatory schools in and around the greater Boston area from as far north as Byfield, Mass., and as far south as Newport, R.I. All ISL schools are members of NEPSAC, the New England Private School Athletic Council, which governs all interscholastic play for independent schools in the Northeast.
