Brett Benzio
Head CoachBrett Benzio joined LA in 2019 and is a member of the math faculty, dorm head of Bigelow, and girls' varsity basketball coach. She has a BS from Tulane University and an MBA from Lynn University. Brett's favorite thing about working at LA is seeing the sunrises and sunsets from the hilltop. She lives on campus with her chocolate lab, Finn, and enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and puzzling.

Donna Mastrangelo
Assistant CoachDonna Bibbo Mastrangelo P '15, '18, began working at LA in 1985 and is a Spanish teacher and girls' varsity basketball coach. She has an AB in Spanish (with a sociology minor) from Bowdoin College. Donna's favorite thing about LA is working with students to help guide them through their journey of finding themselves. Donna enjoys sports, traveling, hosting family gatherings and reunions with alumni (she likes bringing others together to either reminisce about past occasions or introduce people to form new friendships), and cherishes family time with her husband Frank, children, Cailey and A.J., and their little Chihuahua, Peter.

Roster
Lawrence Academy competes in the 16-team Independent School League (ISL), which consists of selective college preparatory schools in and around the greater Boston area from as far north as Byfield, Mass., and as far south as Newport, R.I. All ISL schools are members of NEPSAC, the New England Private School Athletic Council, which governs all interscholastic play for independent schools in the Northeast.
