Lawrence Academy is pleased to announce it will work with Author Carolyn Mackler during the 2023-2024 school year.

Carolyn will partner with two of Lawrence Academy's clubs — LA's Library Squad and 1899 — throughout the year and will do a community service activity with our students in the spring.

Community members are invited to join Carolyn in person on May 2nd for a book discussion of her new book, "The Wife App." Check back soon for details about registering for the book discussion.

The author began the collaboration with LA via ZOOM during the "Banned Books Week" discussion at the October 2 morning assembly.

Mackler is the acclaimed author of the YA (young adult) novels "The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things," "Infinite in Between," and "The Future of Us," among other titles. Her award-winning novels have appeared on bestseller lists and translated into over twenty-five languages. Carolyn lives in New York City with her husband and two sons. The Wife App is her first novel for adults.
