GROTON, Mass. — Lawrence Academy has named Niall Cremin ’20 head coach of its varsity boys' lacrosse program, effective for the 2026-27 school year.

A 2020 graduate of Lawrence Academy, Cremin earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He returned to the academy in September 2025 as a full-time faculty member, teaching in the science department, living on campus, serving as a dorm parent and joining the varsity boys lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant coach.

During his time at Lawrence Academy, Cremin was a standout student-athlete, serving as captain of the varsity lacrosse team while also competing on the varsity soccer team.

After graduating from Lawrence Academy, Cremin continued his lacrosse career at the NCAA Division I level and has since built an extensive coaching résumé.

In addition to serving as an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Lawrence Academy, Cremin coaches with the Laxachusetts Minuteman program. He previously coached with Top Gun Fighting Clams Lacrosse and 3STEP Sports and served as offensive coordinator for Algonquin Regional High School.
