Here's Ms. Marrapese-Burrell's article, as it appeared in February 1's The Boston Globe.
Today’s game semi-final against Harvard (5-11-3), which can be seen on NESN, begins at 5 PM. The two other teams that compete for the bragging rights in Boston each year are Northeastern University (11-11-1) and the defending champions, Boston University's Terriers (9-11-3).
In 2008, during Joe Whitney's rookie season, the Eagles won the four-team tourney on the way to clinching the NCAA championship; in 2009, the Terriers followed suit, winning both the Beanpot and the NCAA crown.
