A. We encourage
all candidates to complete the admissions process, both the interview
and the application, by January 15 (for International candidates and
Domestic Day candidates) or February 1 (For Domestic Boarding
candidates).
A. Lawrence Academy
prefers our online application. We believe the application process
should be as easy as possible for our families. If you
experience any difficulties, we will be happy to help you or to mail
you an application. There are also PDF files of our paper application
located on our website. Lawrence Academy will accept the Common
Application. You may click here for a link to the Common Application online. When you get to the SSAT page, click on the "Apply to Schools" link in the upper left corner of the page.
A. Yes, there are
two optional supplements to the common application. They are designed
to provide our coaches and instructors with specific information if you
are an athlete or interested in the arts. You may access the
supplements on our web site by clicking here, or we will be happy to mail them to you. Both supplements will also be available during your interview.
A. We hope that the
interview and campus tour will be a fun experience that provides you
with a good sense of the school, our programs, and our students. When
you arrive on campus, you will go on a tour of the facilities with a
student tour guide. After the tour, the student will spend about twenty
minutes talking with an admissions officer. The admissions officer will
then speak privately with the parents to answer any questions or to
address any concerns. The entire process usually takes about two hours.
A. While we prefer
to interview every candidate in person, at times it is not possible for
a family to travel to our campus. In these circumstances, we are
willing to arrange a phone interview. Please call 978-448-1530 to set
up an appointment for your phone interview.
