Senior Parent Gift (SPG) 2017
In recent years, senior parents have created their own legacy of transformative giving to Lawrence Academy through the Senior Parent Gift. These gifts have helped to bring change and improvement to the school in the here and now. This year’s project will continue to enrich our campus landscape by directing our attention to our academic and social heart: The Quad. With the completion of the entryway, we plan to continue campus development to the center of campus.
In reconceiving Powderhouse Road as a primarily pedestrian way, we will reinforce the Quad as our central community space connecting our human network through school buildings, walkways, open space, and beautiful landscaping. The settled grace of the Quad at the center of all of our academic and social activity will make a statement at once quiet and powerful regarding the quality of our educational community.
This continued definition and aesthetic refinement of the academic quad is an extension of a carefully planned, multi-year initiative to enhance the educational landscape at LA where we gather to learn and live.
