Dear Alumni, Families, and Friends,
As I look out my window here in Alumni Development House, I am excited and inspired by the many positive (and tangible) changes we’ve seen on our campus this past year. Changes made possible by the generosity and commitment of so many of our dedicated supporters.
Walking across the Quad, and looking out over LA’s beautiful “back yard,” I see Murbach field with its new, multi-purpose turf field, the result of the incredible generosity of a few visionary benefactors desiring to create a newly designed space complementing our beautiful campus, providing a state-of-the-art playing field, and ensuring a wonderful new viewing area for the community as we gather to watch our teams play.
With these visible campus improvements in mind, and the nearly $1.4 million to our Annual Fund, I wish to express my gratitude to everyone who made a gift in the 2014-2015 school year. Your belief in our mission, continued involvement in our community, and ongoing, generous philanthropic support of Lawrence Academy is evidence of your dedication to the school and it inspires everyone throughout our community to reach higher goals. We look forward to continuing to engage you in the work we do to strengthen the school’s mission.
If you are in the area, please pay us a visit. I welcome the opportunity to know you better and hear of your experiences at Lawrence Academy. If an on-campus visit is not possible this year, I invite you to attend one of the many regional events we will be hosting this year to catch up with old friends and to learn more about what it means to be a student at Lawrence Academy today.
