Dear Alumni & Friends:
Following a fantastic graduation ceremony last Friday, underclassmen have just concluded final exams, and we are all headed into the summer.

But before we do that -- Reunion is this weekend! And the Class of 1965 is anticipated to break all 50th reunion attendance records! LA classes ending in ’00 and ’05 will be turning out in force, and the second annual LA Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony promises to be a huge success as we induct 6 individuals and one team. It’s not too late to sign up for Reunion, and we hope you do. The weather is going to be perfect, and we’d love to see all our old friends back on the Quad.

In the spirit of re-connecting and staying connected, below is a list of highlights from the last two weeks of the year

The NGP and Senior Museums were inspiring displays of academic work by our youngest and our oldest students.
The Spring Arts Showcase featured LA's artists, musicians, vocalists, and thespians, and included the always anticipated One-Acts.
The 104 members of the Class of 2015 were inducted into the LA Alumni Association at a breakfast hosted by the LA Alumni Council last Thursday morning. Alumni Council President Sue Barron gave a rousing speech to these most recent alumni and is busy adding a few of them to the Council for the coming year.
Last Friday was a beautiful day for graduation on the Quad. Speaker Charlie Sennott, Director of the Ground Truth Project, gave a powerful speech inspiring the seniors to go out and make a difference in the world like so many LA alumni before them have done. Senior speakers Aleice Goodman and Oren Karp spoke straight to their classmates in a heartfelt and nostalgic way, and both received standing ovations. This class will stay in touch with one another and with LA, for sure. Before we know it, they’ll be back on the Quad again!.

BTW: Please mark your calendars for two LA events this summer. The memorial service for Richard H. Gagné will be on Sunday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. in MacNeil Lounge, and the LA Circle Event in Cotuit on Cape Cod will be on Thursday, July 16 at 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. We hope to see many of you there!
