Dear Alumni & Friends,

After a Thanksgiving Eve snowfall that dropped eight inches over campus, followed by a long weekend of bright white days, winter term has arrived, and fall term seems like a distant memory. Classes are in full swing, winter sports have begun, Winterim courses are being selected (with juniors and seniors getting first dibs), and the winter theatre production is getting underway, another original play which will be conceived and written by the student actors.

But, believe it or not, I am already looking ahead to spring. I need your help as we prepare for reunion and the many forms of recognition we give in May and June. I’d appreciate it if you would click on each link below and submit your nominations for several important awards, as well as class notes.

While the titles are fairly self-explanatory, an explanation is included within each link:

The Alumni Faculty Appreciation Award
LA Athletic Hall of Fame
Greater Good Award

Alumni Class Notes

Thanks so much for all your help,

Rob Moore

BTW: I will be back in touch in mid-December before we break for the winter holiday. In the meantime, We are all looking forward to this year’s holiday concert in which our student musicians and dancers will collaborate with students from other schools, along with professional musicians from the Indian Hill Orchestra. Alumni and friends may attend the open rehearsal of the concert (The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Karl Jenkins) on Monday, December 15, at 8:00 p.m. in the RMPAC. Also be sure to join us for our Holiday Alumni Gatheringbrick oven pizza and hockeybefore the LA vs. Cushing hockey game on Thursday, December 18! We will have a brick oven pizza food truck outside the LA Development House from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Just like our recent event in Boston, this will be a great time to network and get into the holiday spirit with LA alumni and friends. Finally, thanks for all your positive feedback on my two video tours. It appears my debut as a TV personality has been a success! If you missed them, please be sure to click on the links below:
